Heavy Tweed Jacket

Despite its name, Heavy Tweed Jacket is not a photo collection of woollen steel jackets. The blog concerns itself with the fineries of American style, going to great lengths and troubles to produce content with true content. The latest update is from May and dissects end-on-end shirts from several makers. Another one delves into university stripe shirts, third one into button-downs, which seem to be the writer’s favourite obsession. Scans of old apparel catalogues are a welcome alternative to the endless re-posting that undulates on Tumblr. Obviously a labour of love, HTJ brings some of the finest, in-depth blog posts on American style.
