This blog does not pertain to fashion. Fashion is frail, vague, constantly moving and often pure rubbish. The easiest way to avoid individual style is to follow fashion, buy the things one’s friends have, to remake the garderobe several times a year. My dear friend Oscar Wilde stated ‘Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable we have to alter it every six months.’ The Finnish man lives in a state of inferiority. He goes about in sneakers, jeans, sweatpants and ill-fitting clothes. He puts his cash in electronics, cars and entertainment. He trods through his only life with a week-old buzzbeard, hair unsplit and a ‘fuck’ drooping from his mouth.

This blog, dedicated to classic men’s style, aims to bring about a change. I will be presenting Finnish quality stores, proper ways of combining clothes, revealing how clothes have changed and moulded through times and clarifying how important events should be met with style – all this for free. I wish to gather all relevant info under this one blog. The aim is a grand one, but I’ve the ambition to match. ‘A stylish, groomed, handsome man must be gay.’ This stereotype must be crushed. All who’ve visited an Italian metropolis can’t but help to notice how important dapperness is to the country’s men. La dolce vita is also possible in Finland, and it does not take an infeasible heap of cash to reach it. Neither are used clothing a shameful thing. It is time for a new wind of change.
