Daily lore: The Wall Street Journal published a nice little article about the men taking style ques from their grandfathers instead of fathers more sportswear-inclined. With most 21st century guys in t-shirts and sweatpants, tailored and draped cloths have become a way to both stand out and attune to something permanent. Technologies buzz, the Internet is intangible, venues change — the suit stays.
