GQ Personal Style: Richard James
0September 24, 2013 by Ville Raivio
Three years ago Andy Morris from GQ sat down with Richard James for the lads mag’s established personal style series. When first arriving on the Row, the maverick tailor had the audacity to keep his store open on weekends. The interview sees him espousing brighter suits, denouncing stylists and short-sleeved collar shirts (which really shouldn’t be called business shirts at all), then carping about the 30-or-so lads who arrive with their preened dates to Scott’s in trainers. What leaves me worried is his ‘fun’ take on black tie: ‘Or you can just wear a slim black tie with a black suit, which also looks great.’
