The Scoop On Shipton&Heneage
0May 23, 2013 by Ville Raivio
Shipton&Heneage sell shoes. They differ from many online shoe stores by their selection: instead of retailing well-known makers, S&H only offer pairs under their own brand. This method comes with an added perk for those with a discerning eye, as several of their models are in fact made by Crockett&Jones, whose price-quality deal is among the best ones in their tier. Careful ogling reveals that some of S&H’s models feature details or brogue medallions only used by C&J, Cheaney and so on. While C&J’s own pairs retail at around 300£ or more, those made by them for Shipton&Heneage are cheaper — and cheaper still when S&H has one of their many sales on. The same is true for models made by Cheaney, Church’s and the like. Perhaps Shipton&Heneage reach their friendly prices with volume sales and by selecting cheaper leathers.
