Likely the most cost-effective way to get a nice pair of shoes with Rendenbach soles is to head to Berwick’s webstore. I haven’t handled these so far, but they look right and the prices are very good.

My brother, James, sent me this tour of the Rendenbach tannery. I am a distant relation of Johann Rentenbach, my mother was Margaret Rentenbach of upper Michigan. Would enjoy these shoes greatly! Leather soles are very attractive and comfortable, especially from Trier!
