Daily reading: Google Books offers a full scanned copy of LIFE’s November 22 issue from 1954. On page 68 begins a far too short survey on the Ivy Look, which had, at the time, matured for five decades on the shoulders of East Coast WASPs and was now making headway into Texas, Georgia and onwards to glory for shoulders everywhere.
