Depiedencap Shoe Dissections

Shoe lore: the fine French shoe forum, Depiedencap, has dissected several pairs from different makers of repute a few years ago. The findings give most for the man with some knowledge of the French language, the rest of us will have to make due with Google’s translation services. Officina Patina, Edward Green, J.M. Weston, Markowski, Grenson, Septième Largeur, Alfred Sargent, Carlos Santos and Loding are among this helpful collection of footwear taken apart for the full monty. More examples can be found at DPEC’s forum. The French, it seems, do love their shoes.
