The Americanization of Ivy League Style

The daily link leads to AAAC, where ‘AldenPyle’ has shared some scanned ads for Ivy League clothes from the early decades of the 20th century. The poster’s style reminds me of Etutee’s academic dissections of olden Apparel Arts and Esquire scans. Opinions are at minimum while careful commentary guides the contemporary reader through cuts, details, fabrics and such. No unnatural shoulders or starched collars here, just Ivy at its best.
