Boom or Bust, Wall Street Finds Designer Alan Flusser’s Stock Is Secure

Today’s link leads to People magazine’s virtual archives and an interview with Alan Flusser from 1988. Inside, the reader will find old Flus wearing a horizontal-striped shirt, discussing his work on the Wall Street film and something I haven’t seen on other interviews of Flusser: his ethnicity and conversion to Nichiren Shōshū. The saddeningly short text also lists some prices on accessories and bespoke suits from Alan Flusser Customs as well as the large heap of dollars the business accumulated. Highly recommended for all menswear buffs.
