The extensive text features Linda Dyett&#8217;s journey into the tailoring circles of the &#8217;80s New York, with commentary and guidance from G. Bruce Boyer and Hardy Amies, who took Dyett under their high-cut armholes, explaining the variables of cuts and fineries of cloths. The article also offers a fascinating anatomy of the &#8217;80s drape suit as well as a surprising shot of one Alan Flusser with a dark set of hair. Other tailors include John Reyle, Henry Stewart, Piero Dimitri, Vincent Nicolosi, William Fioravanti, Garrick Anderson, the travelling Anderson&amp;Sheppard and Edward Sexton. Sartorially speaking, the &#8217;80s was a mistake.
